John Bennett

John is a seasoned executive coach (Professional Certified Coach) who has been coaching, consulting, facilitating, and speaking for more than 10 years. John holds a M.A. and a Ph.D., Human & Organizational Systems, Fielding Graduate University, Santa Barbara, CA after completing a  B.S., Mars Hill College, Mars Hill, NC.

John has held teaching postions as Assistant Professor & Communication Department Chair, Communication, Queens University of Charlotte, Charlotte, NC, and other positions with University of North Carolina at Charlotte and at Greensboro, as well as faculty positions with University of Phoenix Online, and University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Professional Experience

John professional experience includes President, Laton Associates, Chief Executive Officer of both the  Great Lakes Region, and the Midwest Region of the American Red between 1993 – 1997 after eight years of earlier service as Assistant Chapter Executive, Various Chapters & headquarters, American Red Cross.

Research, Grants, Certificates and other Experiences

John has a long list of credentials in research into Executive Coaching Styles. He also has received certificates from Fielding Graduate Institute, Cape Cod Institute, Center for Creative Leadership, International Coach Federation, Corporate Coach U, National Training Laboratory Institute, Herrmann Brain Dominance Inventory, and the University of Virginia.

Publications and Professional Presentations

John has written several books and numerous papers on topics relavent to organizational development and executive coaching. In addition, he has been a professional presenter at a dozen Organizational Conferences and Symposiums on topics regarding working as a professional coach.
