Leo Tonkin

Leo Tonkin is the Chief Executive Officer of Distinctions, Inc. Leo has over 25 years’ experience working with organizations of all sizes to improve their performance, effectiveness, and productivity.  His clients include some of the top companies in the world such as Office Depot, Johnson & Johnson, American Express, Mass Mutual, The Home Depot, Apple Computers, Black & Decker, Pfizer, Ford Motors, and others.

Leo was a pioneer in the executive coaching field in the 1980’s before “coaching” was a mainstream distinction in the business world.  In the early 1990’s he collaborated with Stephen Covey to develop and deliver training programs based on The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Later he developed programs while collaborating with Ken Blanchard, author of the One Minute Manager, Raving Fans and other best-sellers. Leo is a published author, a highly sought after keynote speaker and has written more than 30 programs from executive excellence and team building to communication and innovation.

Today Leo applies principles from sports and organizational psychology, strategic coaching, change management, neuroscience and transformational training to impact the performance of organizations and their people.

Brian Stuhlmuller

Brian Stuhlmuller is the Executive Vice President of Distinctions, Inc. Brian’s 45 year executive career has spanned leadership positions for companies including GE, Shell Containers, Medi-Media Division Vivendi Intl, and Day-Timer, Inc., interspersed with positions as an education administrator, start-up entrepreneur and business owner. As an entrepreneur he has started companies in manufacturing, health care information management,  and training and consulting services. He is the owner of two U.S. patents and numerous product design awards.

Brian has over 20 years experience as an Executive Coach and Mentor,  a start-up Business Consultant, and a Professional Workshop/seminar designer and leader. Before joining Distinctions, he was the Founder and CEO of Mission Control Productivity, Inc.

Ida de Blanc

Ida has been creating and delivering extraordinary educational, training, and coaching programs for many years. As a Distinctions productivity coach and a program leader, she serves on the Distinctions Program Design Team and is a Certified Leader of several of Distinctions training programs and live webinars.

Ida specializes in productivity—working closely with individuals and groups to design the most effective and efficient practices in today’s electronic office. She has developed a particular expertize working with executives who want to simplify the management of their accountabilities, information and communications systems, process and practices.

Jerry Figlioli

Jerry Figlioli, Vice President of Sales,  is a seasoned executive with over 30 years in business. Jerry is a results-driven leader with demonstrated success in helping Fortune 1000 companies across the US achieve increased profitability through revenue growth, cost management and improved organizational effectiveness.

Jerry  has worked with clients in a variety of industries including Bank of America, Target Corp., Citicorp, GMAC, Wells Fargo, Comcast, Sears, PNC, Macy’s, Home Depot, JC Penney, Centacore (a J&J company) and many others. His areas of expertise include improving the overall economic health of an organization as well as elevating the effectiveness of their internal teams.

Jerry thrives on the relationships he has built with his clients over the years and is energized by building new ones. He holds a BS in Business Administration from Western Illinois University and is the proud father of three.

Ken Lichtenstein

Ken Lichtenstein

Ken brings a powerful blend of educational and direct corporate experience that enable him to deliver highly effective growth interventions, strategic transformations, and collaborative initiatives.

Before joining Distinctions, Ken founded his own consulting practice, specializing in Leadership Development, Team and Organizational Effectiveness, Management and Executive Coaching, and Individual Coaching. Prior to that he served as Director of Organizational Effectiveness for Allstate Insurance Company, where he was responsible for development of leadership strategies for 2000 of the Company’s Information Technology professionals.

Earlier in his career, Ken was a consultant with Philadelphia based High Performance Consulting, a boutique firm specialized in performance and productivity improvement in Fortune 100 corporations. Ken has held positions as Manager or Director at Fortune 500 companies including St. Louis-based Monsanto, Chicago-based Ameritech and Fairfield, CT-based General Electric. While at General Electric he was closely involved in the implementation of Jack Welch’s Change Acceleration Process (CAP) and Work Out Empowerment Model, both of which have become models for transformation in corporate America.

Ken holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, an MSS in Clinical Social Work from Bryn Mawr College and a BS degree in Psychology from Drexel University.

Ray Stoddard

Ray Stoddard

Ray has been providing corporate change, sales, and management consulting programs for over 20 years. Ray trained with Dr. Michael Hammer in Business Process Redesign and has led and managed large, cross-functional business process redesign and improvement projects in the fields of finance, education, IT, and insurance.

Ray has worked on projects for clients such as Dell, Fiserv, University of California, 3M Health Information Systems, ING Direct, Mellon Bank, Security Pacific Bank, RE/MAX of California, Netsmart Technologies, RivCom (UK), Claims Verification, and Landmark Films.

Ray is an effective, thoughtful trainer and program designer. He has trained and led leadership training programs, strategic and marketing courses, employee onboarding programs, and taught at Ryerson Polytechnic University and the Graduate School of the University of Toronto.

Tony-Stewart

Tony Stewart

Tony has more than twenty years’ experience helping organizations improve their operations. During his career Tony has served as Director of Consulting at a business process consultancy (RivCom Inc.), Vice President for Software Development at a software development company (Riverside Software), and Chair of the Technical Working Group that developed a suite of international standards (the AdsML Framework). Other executive positions included CIO of CareData Solutions (health data management) and Director of Internal Systems Development at GoAmerica (telecommunications).

As a consultant, Tony led engagements at Shell Oil, News International, The Los Angeles Times, BNFL Engineering and many smaller organizations. He holds a BA in English from Yale University and began his career as a professional writer and filmmaker. It was during those early years that Tony developed the strong communication and facilitation skills that he brings to every engagement.
